Christ is Risen! Two weeks late, I know (three for Western Easter), but it's still the Paschal season so it totally counts. ^_^ And I'm on a posting-new-pictures spree! Thank you to Tengu from Felisfire for reminding me it's been somewhere around a year since I last posted pictures here. I've got a nice good backlog of photos that I want to put up, so I'll probably be doing a few per day. In other news- I graduated! In December- so, rather late news. XD But as far as current events, I've been accepted for a full-time job for the next year or two, and it pays nice and is a 30-minute bus ride from home, so I'm very happy. :) In random other

Tomorrow I'll be heading off to my grandparents' house for Thanksgiving- I am so excited! (though admittedly, just as much for the no school part as for the dinner and family part) In celebration, I took some time to upload more pictures. ....what? I think it's a perfectly decent way to celebrate (considering I keep procrastinating doing so- I took those pictures over a month ago...>.<). In other news, though- I won NaNoWriMo! I hit 50,000 words yesterday night- so happy. The story itself isn't finished, and will probably end up being put on the back burner as I'm just starting into the finals crunch for school right now, but I do plan

...seriously, I do. I was on a retreat with my community house this weekend, and I took pictures of the sunset, and the lake, and our bonfire Friday. And they were awesome. I love that I can zoom in with my camera so much, and still get such beautiful, clear shots of the water ripples and the flames, and everything. I love how I can seriously take a picture of the sun, and still have it come out good. And it really was a perfect place/time for taking pictures, too. We were by a very lovely lake, and the sunset was just perfect for photographing. I'll upload some pictures later today (after I finish the homework that I've been putting off).
